Barbara Piovesan graduated in 2008, with honors, with a master’s degree in Sciences for Continuing Education at University of Padua. In 2004 she began collaborating with the Special Company of the Treviso Chamber of Commerce where, in 2009, she approached the Industrial Property dealing, in particular, with prior art searches and assistance in trademarks filings, collaborating with local Law Firms.

After moving to Milan, in 2013 she began collaborating with an important IP Firm where she had the opportunity to consolidate the knowledge already acquired in the field of trademark protection, dealing in particular with searches and filings of Italian, European Union, International and foreign national trademarks; she also had the opportunity to acquire skills in the context of oppositions, disputes and negotiations.

Since 2016 she is part of the PGA SpA Trademark Department where she takes care of and continues to deepen every aspect of trademark protection: from strategic consultancy prior to filing, including prior art searches, prosecution, management of opposition proceedings, non-use cancellation actions and invalidations.
