Maria Luisa Iarossi obtained in 2017 a Master Degree in Molecular and Cellular Medical Biotechnology, Faculty of Medicine, at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele (Milan). During the last year of the master degree, Maria Luisa attended the technology transfer office of the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, where she had the opportunity to approach the topic of patents and licensing agreements between universities and companies in order to exploit inventions.

In 2018 she started a collaboration with an well-known IP firm in Milan where she worked as an Italian and European patent attorney trainee, dealing in particular with prior art searches, drafting of patent applications in the chemical-biotechnological field, and prosecution of patent applications.

Since 2021 she joined the Chemistry, Pharma & Medical Devices patent department of PGA, where she deals with patent matters in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.

Maria Luisa is a registered member of the Italian Register of Intellectual Property Consultants, patents section.
