{"id":670,"date":"2015-05-26T10:02:55","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T08:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pga-ip.com\/?p=670"},"modified":"2019-01-11T22:34:58","modified_gmt":"2019-01-11T21:34:58","slug":"validazione-del-brevetto-europeo-marocco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pga-ip.com\/en\/2015\/05\/26\/validazione-del-brevetto-europeo-marocco\/","title":{"rendered":"VALIDATION OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT IN MOROCCO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The European Patent Office has signed an agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco under which, at the end of the European procedure, a granted patent may be validated also in Morocco. This brings to 41 the number of countries for which patent protection can be obtained on the basis of a single European patent application.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">However, it is important to remark that Morocco does not accede to the European Patent Convention (EPC) but it requires a validation procedure similar to the procedure implemented for the &#8220;Extension States&#8221; (currently Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro).
