Patent Attorney
Alessandro Cavazzin holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and he is an Italian and European Patent Attorney.
Alessandro started his career as a mechanical designer and worked from 2007 to 2010 as a mould designer for the automotive and design sectors and as an external mould manager.
Alessandro joined PGA in 2010 and started his career as a patent attorney. He has been working for the PGA Swiss office in Stabio since 2021. Alessandro has acquired considerable experience in the field of Intellectual Property, assisting Italian and foreign clients in all aspects of the profession. In addition to his knowledge of the mechanical field, he has been able to combine and develop considerable experience in the paper industry, IT, geotechnics, hydraulics and plant engineering.
Alessandro’s practice includes patent drafting and prosecution, patent and trademark searches, opposition and patent litigation, design and trademark matters. Alessandro also has breadth of experience in drafting validity, freedom-to-operate and infringement opinions, as well as IP mapping analysis and patent watch activities.
