The Ideas Powered for Business desk is finally re-opening: SMEs will be able to get up to 1,000 euros in incentives for trademark and design applications to significantly lower the overall cost of the registration.

Funds are limited and available until exhausted.

Who can access

The Fund offers financial support to SMEs and individual businesses based in the European Union.
For filing trademarks and designs in the EU or member states, up to 75 percent of filing fees can be claimed back, up to a maximum amount of 1,000 euros.

For non-EU countries, the refund amount is reduced to 50 percent.

When

The window runs until December 8, 2023, but resources are generally exhausted in a few months. It is therefore advisable to take action as soon as possible to secure the incentive.

Upcoming funds

Voucher 3 (funding of national and European patents) and Voucher 4 (funding of plant varieties) will also be launched in March. In total, the 3 vouchers will enable micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to save up to €2,725 on investments in industrial property.
