Alessandro Galassi is a Senior Partner and co-founder of PGA.
He holds a master degree in Industrial Engineering, with honours, and he is qualified European Patent Attorney, qualified Italian Patent Attorney and qualified Italian and European Trademark Attorney.

In the past 20 years, Alessandro matured significant experience in the IP field, dealing with every aspect of the profession, and in particular: patent, design and trademark searches, patent prosecution, patent and trademark opposition proceedings, patent litigation.

From 1999 to 2009, Alessandro worked in for the IP law firm Bugnion SpA, and from 2001 to 2009 he had the position of managing director of the Brescia office.

Alessandro has significant experience in particular in the following technological areas: mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering in general, knitting technology, medical devices.
Since January 2014 he lives and works in Lugano where he is director of the Swiss branch of the firm and represents clients before the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office IGE/IPI.

He is also member of the Swiss Association of European Patent Representatives VESPA (Verband der freiberuflichen Europäischen und Schweizer Patentanwälte) / ACBSE (Association des conseils en brevets suisses et européens de profession libérale).
