Laura Pellicanò holds a degree in law, is a licensed Attorney at Law and an Italian and European Trademark and Design Attorney. She operates from the Bologna, Rimini, Rome, and Reggio Calabria offices.

In 1999 she worked at the legal department of Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. and later at the Patent Office of the Bologna Chamber of Commerce. In 2000 she moved to Florence where she worked for the intellectual property consultancy firm Società Italiana Brevetti S.p.A. From 2001 she worked for over twenty-two years at the Bologna office of the intellectual property consultancy firm Bugnion S.p.A., where she became a partner in 2006.

Throughout her career, Laura has gained considerable experience in the strategic management of large trademark, design and domain portfolios for leading Italian companies in various product sectors, including luxury goods, fashion, food and wine, pharmaceuticals and machinery, assisting them in all stages of the registration process, from conception to filing, prosecution and defense of rights, negotiation of amicable settlements of out-of-court disputes and coexistence, as well as negotiation of agreements for the assignment and licensing of intangible assets in Italy and abroad.

She is specialized in assisting company management, providing day-to-day strategic advice on all aspects of the management of the company’s intangible assets, including their valorization and economic exploitation, due diligence, the allocation of annual budgets earmarked for industrial property, and internal training on issues related to the protection of such assets.
