Patent Attorney
Raimondo Coletti has joined PGA, operating out of the firm’s Lugano office, where he supports PGA’s international client base and contributes his extensive experience to the firm’s dynamic and growing practice.
Raimondo brings over 25 years of experience in private practice as a patent, design, and trademark consultant with one of Italy’s leading intellectual property firms. He has developed significant expertise in patent prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement, both in Italy and abroad. Over the course of his career, he has handled numerous litigation and pre-litigation matters on behalf of Italian and multinational clients across Europe, North America, and Asia, gaining deep insight into complex cross-border IP strategies.
He has also managed large and diverse intellectual property portfolios and led paralegal and administrative teams supporting IP operations. In addition, Raimondo has extensive experience in international renewals and annuity payment management, and has represented clients before various Intellectual Property Offices and local administrative authorities.
Raimondo also spent three years with CPA Global, a leading multinational provider of legal support services, where he served as a permanent member of the Business Academy, providing consulting and operational guidance to the company’s operations, sales, and marketing divisions.
A frequent speaker at international conferences and workshops on intellectual property matters, Raimondo is known for his practical insights and strategic approach to IP protection and management.
He holds a degree in Mechanical and Mining Engineering from the University of Rome and is qualified to represent clients before the UIBM, the European Patent Office (EPO), and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He is also listed among the Court-Appointed Technical Experts in patent matters before the Court of Milan.
When not immersed in intellectual property matters, Raimondo enjoys outdoor sports and is an avid skydiving instructor, a pursuit that — as he often notes — helps him maintain a broader perspective on both life and work.
